Security and Payment

All our prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus a delivery charge based on the value of goods ordered - see Delivery & Access Details below for precise charges. You must confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure but, in the absence of negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from our website. Sofasinstock.co.uk currently accept payment in pounds sterling only and customers can pay via credit or debit card using the website. Customers wishing to order and pay by cheque can do so. Simply call our customer services department by freephone on 0808 1788798 or email us contact@sofasinstock.co.uk and we will be delighted to go through your order. Payment can then be sent to Customer Services, Sofasinstock Limited, Block 3a, Caponacre Industrial Estate, Cumnock, Ayrshire, KA18 1SH. Customers who wish to pay by credit or debit card but would prefer to fax their order through with payment details should also contact our customer services department and then fax both order and payment details to us on 01290 429425.

Delivery & Access Details
At Sofasinstock a delivery charge is applied in addition to the cost of goods ordered, and is calculated according to the value of goods in your basket, as follows: orders up to and including £300 delivery charge £9; orders over £300 delivery charge £49. We deliver anywhere in mainland Great Britain and Northern Ireland. We will deliver to your home on Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays. Your order will be delivered anytime between 7am and 7pm. Our customer service staff will communicate with you regarding your delivery time and you will receive a text message on the morning of delivery plus a call before the driver arrives. Please ensure we have your correct contact details as our couriers will attempt delivery even if they have been unable to reach you. A failed delivery will incur a £49 charge for our re-delivery service. Your order will be delivered to your home and we will place your order in the room you wish, subject to sufficient access. Your order will only be dispatched from stock from our warehouse which is based at Block 3a, Caponacre Industrial Estate, Cumnock, Ayrshire, KA18 1SH. This means that the expected delivery date will be between four and 10 days from the date of purchase. Please note that customers who choose to take advantage of our interest free credit offer have a statutory right to a 14 day cooling off period before commencing with the purchasing process. This automatically adds 14 days to the actual delivery date as we cannot by law process the order until the cooling off provision has been satisfied. Once a delivery date has been agreed you must be able to take delivery on that day. For security reasons a signature is required upon receipt of your order.
If you are out when we attempt delivery your order will be returned to our warehouse and a £49 failed delivery fee will be payable before we can re-arrange delivery. If you then decide to cancel the order instead of having your order re-delivered, a £49 fee will be deducted from your refund. You must check there is suitable access to your delivery address and that we can deliver your order. This includes access and parking for our delivery vehicle and access through your home to place your order into its intended room. Any refunds due to subsequent access and/or size issues will have a £49 failed delivery fee deducted.

Damaged Product 
You must note any packaging or product damage clearly on the delivery note so please do not sign for the order before carefully checking your goods. We cannot accept liability for any damage reported to us at a later date. Damaged or faulty products will where possible be collected and repaired. Risk of damage to the products shall pass to you upon signing your delivery note.

Cancellation
We will make every effort to fulfill your order, however we reserve the right to cancel at any time and will not be liable to you or any third party. Cancellation could be due to one of the following reasons. The product you ordered no longer being available, being unable to authorise your payment, identification of a pricing or product description error, or you not meeting the eligibility to order criteria.
Our customer services department will contact you as soon as possible if we have to cancel your order. We also reserve the right to refuse any transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. Any sum paid will be refunded or re-credited to your account and Sofasinstock Ltd will not be obliged to offer any compensation for disappointment or inconvenience suffered. Should you wish to cancel your order you must let us know at least two working days before your planned delivery date otherwise it may have already been dispatched and therefore incur a £49 failed delivery fee.

Returns & Refunds
You can let us know within seven days of receipt of your order that you wish to return the goods purchased from Sofasinstock.co.uk. In this instance a collection will be arranged and the goods will be returned to our warehouse. Items must be returned in their original packaging and in a perfect and saleable condition. Once we have checked the returned goods at our warehouse to determine that they are in perfect and saleable condition, you will be refunded (minus a £49 collection charge) within 30 days. Items returned to us without their original packaging or not in a perfect and saleable condition will not be refunded and we will in these circumstances offer to re-deliver the goods to you at no extra cost. Please note that sofa beds cannot be returned as unsuitable once they have been opened. Any refunds due to access and/or size issues will have a £49 failed delivery fee deducted. We will only attempt to collect unsuitable items twice and in both instances you will incur a £49 collection fee. After this we will not try again and you will no longer be entitled to a refund.

Guarantees
All our sofas come with an extensive five-year parts and structure guarantee. All other products come with a one-year manufacturer’s guarantee unless otherwise stated. Any clearance items that we choose to sell will be clearly described and photographed and will be sold on a ‘sold as seen online’ basis, so will not be covered by any guarantee.

Your Personal Details
To process your order we need to take some personal details such as your name and address. This information will not be used for any third party marketing purposes unless you state otherwise.

Content & Company Communications
We take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions, images and prices appearing on the Sofasinstock.co.uk website and in any other Sofasinstock communications are fair and accurate. Any typographical, clerical or other error or omission shall be subject to correction without liability. Any photographs or videos used are for illustrative purposes only and may not exactly match the product itself. We take every care to provide customers with the best possible imagery.
